Paris versus New York

This week I’ll be traveling to Paris, and I can’t help but think about Vahram Muratyan’s book, Paris versus New York: a tally of two cities.

I love Vahram’s witty comparisons of the two cities – his work made me realize how similar yet different Paris and New York are. Seriously thinking about getting one of his prints for our apartment – I love L’Allure, especially since hubby and I are fans of Madmen. Do you have a favorite?

Anyway, I am doing a photoshoot in Paris on Wednesday so we’re making a mini-vaca out of it before heading back to New York next week. I’m looking forward to spending some time in the city of Lights. I just discovered this little blog, Parisian Touch, which shares addresses of great little streets, shops and cafes in Paris. Not the usual places tourists would hit, and that’s just what I like. Can’t wait to go check some of them out.

Oh, and before I forget, here’s a little Paris versus New York shopping list that I compiled for you guys! Happy Monday, friends.

well, for some reason, I’ve never really been a Paris kinda girl! there’s tons to love about it though – and it’s such a romantic city. But I don’t know…let’s say I like the craziness of NYC better 😀

I’ve got the “Paris vs New York” book (gift from my brother) and I love the design. Unfortunately, I only know NY from TV shows, books and movies, but this make me dream about a trip to The Big Apple…one day :)
